We were matched with Meng S in 2000. She was 8 months old in the picture they gave us. Her face is perfectly symmetrical in this 8-month-old photo.
At her one-year routine visit, she received her MMR. After her one-year MMR, the foster parents and her physician noted that she had PALSY. We had not yet met her.
We met her on December 10, 2001. She was already walking, talking, alert and happy.
But her face was noticeably paralyzed on her left side.
Now 19 years old. She is very bright, well adjusted. A vaccine injury doesn’t define a child or make them any less. That point was sorely missed by the vaccine extremists who stormed my post with some serious bashing.
