Formaldehyde

Let’s start to look at the ingredients in the vaccines, why they are there and could they pose a threat to health?

What is formaldehyde? “Formaldehyde is a colorless, flammable gas at room temperature and has a strong odor. Exposure to formaldehyde may cause adverse health effects.” (epa.gov)

So what is the purpose of this in vaccines? “Formaldehyde has a long history of safe use in the manufacture of certain viral and bacterial vaccines. It is used to inactivate viruses so that they don’t cause disease (e.g., polio virus used to make polio vaccine) and to detoxify bacterial toxins, such as the toxin used to make diphtheria vaccine.” (fda.gov) Ok so the FDA says it is safe in vaccines. Let’s take a look to see if this could be the case.

“The U.S. EPA classifies formaldehyde as a carcinogen, as does the International Agency for Cancer Research and the National Toxicology Program. Additionally, several studies have since linked strong, long-term formaldehyde exposure to certain types of cancer.”(publichealth.org) Hmm so how can something that is classified as a carcinogen be safe to be injected? I am not sure….

“Exposure to formaldehyde has been shown to cause cancer in laboratory test animals….In rats, inhaled formaldehyde was linked to cancers of the nasal cavity and leukemia…In mice, applying a 10% solution of formaldehyde to the skin was linked to quicker development of cancers caused by another chemical….Several studies have found that embalmers and medical professionals that use formaldehyde have an increased risk of leukemia, particularly myeloid leukemia. Some studies of industrial workers exposed to formaldehyde have also found increased risks of leukemia, but not all studies have shown an increased risk.” (cancer.org)

“The inhalation of formaldehyde gas in even small quantities is followed by bronchitis and pneumonia.” (toxicefftectsformadlehyde) “Several studies have found that embalmers and medical professionals that use formaldehyde have an increased risk of leukemia, particularly myeloid leukemia.” (cancer.org)

“In rats administered formaldehyde in the drinking-water, increased incidences were seen of fore-stomach papillomas in one study and of leukemias and gastrointestinal tract tumors in another; two other studies in which rats were treated through the drinking-water gave negative results. Studies in which formaldehyde was applied to the skin or injected subcutaneously were inadequate for evaluation.” (euro.who)

From nih, “The Toxic Effects of Formaldehyde and Formalin.” “1. The inhalation of formaldehyde gas in even small quantities is followed by bronchitis and pneumonia. Pneumonia is due to the inhalation of the gas and not to secondary infection. 2. Formalin belongs to that rare group of poisons which are capable of producing death suddenly when swallowed. 3. The introduction of formalin into the stomach is followed by the production of a gastritis which varies greatly in character. The duodenum and upper jejunum may also be involved in the inflammatory process. 4. Intraperitoneal injections of formalin cause peritonitis of a fibrino-haemorrhagic character. A definite reaction is obtained when very dilute formalin (1–1000) is employed. In the peritoneal cavity formalin exercises a destructive action upon all organs (pancreas, liver, peritoneal fat, Fallopian tubes, etc.) with which it comes in contact and causes inflammation in these organs. 5. The lethal dose of formalin when injected intraperitoneally into guinea pigs is approximately 2 cc. of 1–1000 formalin for each 100 grm. of body weight.”

Let’s look at the Material Safety Database for Formaldehyde.

It is also found in vaccines. But they say it is safe. The argument for it being safe is that it is in foods we eat, in our bodies naturally and the amount in vaccines is too small to cause harm. Hopefully this gives you some more incite into the potential risks of Formaldehyde and you can decide for yourself if you think injecting it is a good idea and safe.
