What is inflammation, Does Diet Play A Role?

I am sure you have heard of inflammation by now in the body. Whether acute or chronic I want to share a great video by Dr. Jane Varner explain a little more about inflammation. Chronic inflammation can lead to disease and can cause harm to your body.

Now that you know a little more about inflammation, what are ways you can prevent it? Checkout some tips about how to reduce inflammation naturally.

Effects of Chronic Inflammation:

“Early symptoms of chronic inflammation may be vague, with subtle signs and symptoms that may go undetected for a long period. You may just feel slightly fatigued, or even normal. As inflammation progresses, however, it begins to damage your arteries, organs and joints. Do certain foods increase it? What about foods that can decrease inflammation? Some foods that can fight inflammation include mostly fruits and veggies and whole foods that are natural and not processed. The more processed and refined the food is, can lead to more inflammation in our body.

It is important to eat lots of plants, drink clean water, exercise, get good sleep, lesson stress, reduce meat intake, reduced refined and processed foods that have chemicals that can lead to damage and inflammation in our bodies.
